WL fael.

Yes, today I designated to be fix up your(my) world literature essay day. Turns out, that just means light yourself on fire while mashing your keyboard with your face, or is the case when you finish reading the feedback on my WL draft. Luckily however, I don't have a second world lit due... or that nagging biology assignment.... or other assessment set by non-real-sciences.
Honestly. Biology? Really, next time guys, pick a real subject :P

Also, regrettably, I'm out of ingenious animal/kitten related puns, and so you'll just have to claw your way, head to tail, through this post without grinning.

However, back to the topic of my world lit, I've included a suitable sketch of how I feel about my world lit.

Sorry I couldn't rotato the photo to make it cooler, but I guess I'm just not good enough =(

On one hand, the world lit seems like a burden. On the other hand, I have different fingers... yes, you thought I was going to say something positive, like it enables international cultural awareness...
The only thing I've learned really, is that
a) should an unlikely situation arise where you are socially inept in an french-algerian area, do NOT under any circumstances shoot someone arabic at a beach and then not cry at your mother's wedding, else you will be decapitated.

b) if somebody rings up to your house whilst you are unemployed and cooking pasta, and wants to have phone sex do not forget to note that you have neglected your wife for several years and your cat is missing. Be aware that you will soon have some sort of convoluted fantasy dream where you meet a young teenage girl. Your pasta is also burnt. *sadface*

Hum.. look at that, its 11pm or 9pm in CHINATIME. why do I not hear the voice of my mum yelling at the taiwanese contestant in ' 挑战麦克风' to go home? I wonder....

Also, lets stop it with the manipulative statements, such as "It's entirely up to you, but if you don't then I'm going to 'kill' myself". I really have no idea why 'kill' is in inverted commas, but lets just assume its something ridiculously stupid, like that prize I found in that cereal box.... I hope it was a prize anyway, but the point is we should all get on with our lives.

Also note the letter below-->

Dear Mr. (Or Mrs. if you later on feel so inclined) IB interactive oral

I wish to inform you that you are a complete asshole. You inconsiderate bastard.
Notably in some countries if you tried to designate this type of work to students the government would come and set your house on fire.

Kind regards,
Geoffrey Xu

I'll attempt to update more frequently with less. I very much do need to sreep now, and so don't forget to not comment... oh wait, already got that one covered :@

lol, jks, I don't really care.

PAWS-itive outlook?

Best title evahhhhhhh rah rah rah

Today, originally I made a list of things to do, which I obviously didn't because I feel more inclined to sleep until twelve-ish, until at which point ate an apple. Nothing unusual really, I mean I logged onto netbank, confirmed I had less than 80 cents and collected money from hillary's mum... nothing out of the ordinary.

Oh no wait, yes I do have something to rant about. ok, I was looking a sherry's blog today. Yes, I know, a most henious and devilish crime, but anyway, the cat is out of the bag, or at an infinite distance away from the bag now (or the cat-ion has been ionised).
My point is, however, that what is it with people and NOT being able to take photos with a camera that have the camera at a normal angle. is it NOT POSSIBLE to take photo's normally, or is everyone too cool for that now?
Or maybe it was intended to give me neck problems as I constantly tilt my head to see the photos normally.

Take for example, this photo:Just a nice, normal photo of a dog. Ngawwww.
Now, take this next photo.

Oh my gawd, what is that? IS IT SOME SORT OF UBER-COOL SUPER PHYSICS-DEFYING DOG?!?!?!

No......................................................................and now I have neck problems. SEE MY POINT??????

But anyway, back to the schedule, if you compare what I planned for today, and what I achieved, its really amazing.

So, this is what I originally planned to achieve today:
And, as you can see, none of the boxes have been ticked/marked off. However, I unintentionally discovered serendipity, if that's possible. As you can see:

Yes, that's right. I have a box for 'general excellence'.

IN OTHER NEWS, I suppose a few of you may've been expecting a long winded post, but I really, really can't be bothered, and am subsequently going to go eat some more... mmm food.

Agh...

I'm terribly sorry that I haven't blogged in the LONGEST time ever, but I've been quite busy recently, and so I'll make a new blog AFTER my TOK presentation next week... promise =)

FUN COP anyone?

It just occurred to me, how useful playing games are to improving my vocabulary, because how else would I know words like cuirass, transcendance, etc. Not only that, but I enjoy getting yelled at by my parents. No wait..... -_-

Anyhow, nothing major really that I want to REPORT about, but maybe I'll give you a brief (foreshadowing, no?) run down on stuff that has happened.
Monday was Monday.

Oh yes, that's right.. PHYSICS
I'm not sure if I've mentioned it, but our previous physics teacher, Mr Filander has a little 'run in with physics'. And by 'run in with physics' I mean was viciously attacked by a speeding car whilst riding a bike. Luckily, a balding old man posing as a physics teacher was quickly found, and so thus we have a substitute.
Although its probably better him than that maths substitute teacher of which has holes in his head, and resembles what you'd expect somebody to look like if they fell out of the stupid tree, and hit every branch on the way down...

Oh yeah and we're now probably about 60 hours of teaching behind where we should be. In short, we're screwed. In long:
WEEEEEE'REEEEEEEEEE SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWEEEEEEED
Although that does look like 'we're seaweed' which, we are infact not.

Also, today I scheduled a guidance counseller meeting for the sole purpose of skipping out on Mandarin class, and I found it to be both misleading and uninformative. The cliffnotes version is that she was always making statements like "IF you get your diploma" or "blah blah I need to iron my skin..."... no, that's a bit harsh, she's really nice, just wouldn't make a great motivational speaker.

Although I'm only up to chapter 11 in Jane Eyre, I find that, Charlotte Bronte would've been an EXCELLENT anasthesiologist, because NOBODY puts people to sleep faster than Jane Eyre. What's even more disappointing, is that apparently its a happy ending. I was hoping for more of the protagonist goes banana's "nail-all-the-exits-shut-and-light-the-house-on-fire" ending or a "finally gets pregnant with true love and then she gets kicked in the stomach" ending.
The only thing that fails to deliver more, is Australia Post.

Today was funtastic, well at least afterschool. There were 'free large slurpee' vouchers in the back of the mX's today, and upon realising this just walked up to the stand and started jamming newspapers into my bag, so it was fatter than an obese person at an "all you can eat" restaurant.
When I got home, I cut out all of the coupons individually, and subsequently have 40 vouchers. As large slurpees are $2.60 (I think), this would be epic win.

EXHIBIT A: Maths

EXHIBIT B: Dog without legs

EXHIBIT C: Emergency kitten

But the point is, that's $104 worth of free slurpees... and... and... and... I have free mangled newspapers.... JEALOUS?

Also, I've devised a new way for eelyn to save money. Observe the following scenarios
A)
Bus Driver: That will be two dollars fifty.
Eelyn: *leans forward* Or WILL it?

B) Cashier: I'm sorry, but there's a 10% surcharge on public holidays
Eelyn: *leans forward* or IS there?

frahfrararararah =)

Oh, and also, if there was to be a quote of the blog? -->
"What is a jay chou?" -Dom, 2009

Oh yes, and also the new theme throughout the week, is saying random irrelevant statements which cause people to develop terrible insecurities, such as:
A)
*walks by* "of course -name- hasn't been sexually assaulted"

B) "Where should we eat?"
--> I dunno, but sandra isn't 16

C) "Did you eat egg for breakfast this morning?"

Really. put them into any conversation randomly, and see what happens. and then come back and comment on what happens ^^

Oh, and yes, I'm trying to save some money, but I can't write about this or others (because I have to sreep soonish or will be ubertired tomorrow), so blah work tomorrow, blah KMCC Low, at 40, you have a higher chance of being mauled at the zoo than getting married.

Have a nice day/night ;)

Determination?

where to start, because, oh, jesus, I just woke up and it feels as if I have just been drowned and then re-awoken, if that is a feeling you can relate to.....?

For those of you who waited for a blog update (like a heroin-addicted, HIV positive expectant mother to hear that her baby does not indeed, have 9 arms) I suggest you stop holding your breath because
a) you WILL eventually pass out and;
b) I'm grumpy so this post will be more predictable than the last season of Friends...

I guess today never actually started well, and some would argue that I got out of the wrong side of bed, or am wearing my 'cranky' pants as I am so informed. Well, to you people I say, firstly, my bed is against a wall, so I can only get out one way, and secondly, I wasn't wearing pants today.......... just kidding....

Basically, I got woken up at 7:30ish after arriving home late yesterday. Long story short, my mum is incapable of closing a box.
Then, I didn't get to go to badminton because I got a JESUS MOTHERFCKING CHRIST SHIT huge cramp, and had to limp around like a bunny on crystal meth.

Because I was hungry at around lunch time (duh!) I looked for something to eat, but being in the same household as my sister, anything remotely edible (according to my standards) was not to be seen, so I decided to walk down to the local IGA (about 20 minutes).
Naturally, when I got to IGA I realised, "oh shit, I forgot my fcking wallet", and therefore spent about an hour pointlessly walking (NOT an attack on ice skating ;))

When I got home, tired, grumpy and hungry I made do with some toast, which should be illegal to be eaten for lunch, because that's how unsatisfying it is AND GOD FCKING DAMMIT, I can't concentrate with loud vietnamese karaoke next door, NOT ONLY is the person singing flatter than that coke which has been sitting in my room for a month, but excessively loud. Imagine being kicked up the arse, because that's pretty much how I feel right now.

I did however, get a ridiculous score in that game that sandra is endorsing on her blog , or "http://www.robrob8.com/games/bike-crash.htm"
No, its not a coincidence that my score is simply a photoshopped rearrangement of the numbers from sandra's high score... that would be cheating...

Additionally, I have done shit all and am looking forward to being crushed under the sheer weight of stuff due on tuesday.
Hrm, if only I had anything interesting to say, because unlike previously, its much the case of short story long.. hrm, in review, I am being a tad self-pitying, and I apologise and will stop whining like someone who "only got 5 and a 1/2 nuggets"

I guess I'll do a quick review about a book review on the back of Jane Eyre, and as much as I hate the book, the review comments still entertain me, like eelyn being unable to see her feet.

BERYL BAINBRIDGE writes: 'They don't write them like this any more....'
weeeeeell 'BERYL', if that is your real name, it just so happens that now-a-days people are more practical and don't write books of length comparable to the bible, in droning over emotive language, and thank god as well. WHOEVER SAID Jane Eyre was easy to read, was lying out of their shitting archaic arse.

I guess everyone has their 'off' days?

(Although if I do have a confession to make for the week, its that I laughed at a blind guy eating sphaghetti; but really, who wouldn't?)
