To be or not to be, that is the cliche

Yes, this post will be like when you get dragged to a film, which they said was about violence, rape and happiness, and turns out to be

a) A foreign movie about orphans
b) A screenplay of the diabetic Sweedish girl who couldn't swim *sad face*

Ye-ha, but my real intent (authorial intent eh?) is to whine about how much I spend lol. I thought I would simply like to use today's 'budget' as an example.
Observe =) -->
As you can see, this is my spending for today, and I'm trying to find ways to cut down and save some money, as yeah... saved up money feels good? Well, I don't actually know...

The main problem is, in fact rather cleverly, shown by the pie graph below.

This, combined with the IOC makes me want to stab myself in the eye with a officeworks pen... stabb-ity goodness for only 8 cents!

PLUS, I am now constructing a list of stuff you can do during PHYSICS lessons? WHY spend all that time not listening, when you could be having fun?

1) Develop psychic powers and then actively use them
2) Inflate a beachball and throw it
3) Fake a seizure
4) See how long you can hold your breath
5) Take off your pants and give them to the teacher
6) Chew on your arm until someone notices, pretend to be embarassed and then continue
7) Announce that you are God, and that you are angry
8) Make a sundial
9) Bite people
10) Run to the window and then say, 'Sorry, I thought it was the bat signal'
If you think of anything else mildly entertaining, then place it in the comments?

And its ok alric wu ^^, because just think of the time I forgot my show-and-tell in grade two and cried?

Celebratory Rage =)

Ok, finally time to commit my blog, as I have finally finished my IOC... although that’s DEFINITELY not the last you’re going to hear about this...

“For the wild, yet most homely narrative which I am about to pen, I neither expect nor solicit belief. MAD INDEED WOULD I BE TO EXPECT IT, in a case where my very senses reject their own evidence...”

I mean, HEARING that we need 24/30 on our IOC to get a level 7, that is fucking jesus both outrageous and impossible. As I’ve said before, if JESUS himself did the IOC, he would not get a level 7, and even if he did, it would be because HE”S FUCKING JESUS CHRIST :@ :@ :@ :@

Without exculpating myself too much from my OBVIOUSLY FANTASTIC MARK, I managed to choose the extract from “The Fall of the House of Usher”, and with all due respect to ‘Roderick Usher’, he is a MOTHERFUCKING SON OF A BITCH. That having been said, out of SEVENTEEN (17) extracts, I would’ve done better on ANY OTHER EXTRACT.

But obviously, I COULDN’T POSSIBLY get an extract I want, instead I get the 1/17 chance of USHER... SERIOUSLY... I’m azn, and I don’t even know how small that chance is...And what really sucks, is that I have never won anything from scratch-its, lotto, or anything remotely good. Yet I manage to win the uber bonanza of 'retarded usher extract', if that is indeed, its real name *shifty eyes*

Oh well...since its over and done with, at least I can mock people who haven’t done their IOC, such as Katie “I’m-so-good-and-introductions-are-easy” Low...

Well, I'm going to stop writing, as I will just work myself up into a frenzy, but I've got plenty more to say about physics, assembly, IOC's and everything really. Good luck with whatever..........

Tuesday ends in 'why'

Excellent title Geoff, you should all be saying.

Yes, well being the excellent education system that Education Queensland is, we only had to start school today, with yesterday being a blitz of peaceful, relaxing and non-schooling happiness.

Today being the first day of school, a 'compulsory' tie/scarf thingo has been set in place, but unfortunately for them, it just makes the entire school look 87.5% more scraggly. Yes, I have quantitatively evaluated this.

Some questions just have no answer, such as
a) WHY in fact do triangular sandwiches taste better than square ones?
b) Is zero a positive or negative number?
c) is it POSSIBLE for Henderson to dress without looking like a small town lesbian?
Tragic... tragic.. all questions without definitive answers.

Some questions, other hand, have very definitive and simple answers, such as:
a)Is it possible for me to save more than $200?
b)Is the new timetable a bitch?
c)Did people accidentally stumble upon a collection of fairytales written by a mentally-eight-year-old psychopath and then completely overread them to form morals?
d)Will our dean of studies win the upcoming election?

I believe the answers to the above questions are: no, yes, yes and mrhhrhmmr

Seeing as I barely have time to brush my teeth, I'll make the rest of the blog post fairly succinct, because although Jesus may love you, he won't respect you in the morning.

Today at work was uber-super busy, because... well, I don't know, but basically two people managing everything, when there are four registers open, and everything hasn't been stocked. And honestly... do you really want deli? you DIDN"T fight your way to the top of the food chain to become a vegetarian....

And really, its interesting now. Last year/term, I use to say "Yes... time for my favourite subject, mandarin". These few terms, nothing has changed really, I still use those same words.

Also, if you're planning on emailing Mr Loggie anytime soon asking more than one question, don't. The reply will discuss the question you are least interested in, and completely ignore the other.

I will be back, after my IOC.

Oh yeah, and also a few idea's if you're ever bored in a public toilet
a) Impersonate Elvis. Be convincing
b)Pretend to be Andrew 'o Keefe hosting "deal or no deal"
c) Simulate a Drug Deal
Just a few ideas ;)

Keep well, and remember, if it wasn't for you, it'd just be a pile of clothes on the floor

A terribly late (not dead) blog post.

I've just been longing to write this blog post, but I was really caught up watching 30 rock. Now, in a short break I'm taking between season 2 and season 3

I finally get an opportunity to write a few important things down. vv. God I wish that emoticon worked.

Anyway, yesterday after getting home from gold coast, I was pretty tired, and so slept from about 8pm, which makes me feel like a vaguely ethnic young kid who has his bedtime strictly regulated by his angry, overcontrolling parents who just go downstairs and watch chinese television drama series while eating a combination of peanuts and chips.

But yeah, yesterday was Fred's birthday, and seeing as I didn't even say happy birthday, I feel fairly guilty. But yeah, happy birthday, and I hope you enjoy this special mention, because only special people can be named on my blog. [But don't worry, nobody else will know that you enjoy reading blogs, until I publish this post. which would be now =)]

Also, this morning I overslept until 11amish, despite already winning the coma contest against sleeping beauty, so I didn't get to go to baddy and give johnny his english stuff back.

yesss, also on my way back, I went to hillary's workplace to discover that she wasn't even there. How disappointing, although if I ever have children, I'll know what it'll be like when I pull the "we're secretly going to disneyland but we're actually going to see the dentist" trick.

Oh, and yes, you may recall me whining about having work on the LAST day of school? well, now I also have work on the first day of school. Soon I will ritualise it.

And since every paragraph is completely random and disconnected, I thereby link you irrelevant scienfic material, which you should feel free to highlight random sections, and then cc them to your mailing lists.

I also gather musu's birthday is on tuesday (mainly because I lost a bet last year) and so, since he is a physics student, I believe this 'box of electrons' will both educate and surprise him.
nawww, I'll actually get everyone something.

Right, so in closing, happy birthday, happy chem prac writeup, happy IOC preparation, happy EE, happy CAS, happy TOK which is in week 5.

I hate to be Mr. Stormcloud and rainover/kill everyone's happiness, but lets be realistic. You're fcked. And no, my 'u' key did not break, I'm just trying to be less overwhelming.

Yeugh is NOT cantonese

Well, at least it was not intentionally designed to be cantonese, and if by any random chance it is, well then its not.

Firstly, Reason #1 why I don't use wordpress
failmore plz
Although I do have several theories why this is so. One of which is - wordpress may not be religious, so Jesus might not exist/be a word.

Like any good scientist, I set out to prove this
And it appears its not just the word 'Jesus' that doesn't exist. That's what I like to call serendipity. Amazing!

Anyway, back to normality:
Sunday morning was fairly normal i.e. went to baddy. In the afternoon, Eric and I went to musu's house with btw, is mfking hard to find. Because the movie marathon was going to start at 11:50, and we were there at around 5 (5:30?6?), we watched a bit of death note, played Streets of Rage (zomg n_n) and talked to musu('s cousin) and jermia when she got here. we were going to walk to dackson's house but because hes stoopid he didn't pick up his phone =(

We got dropped off at Goodna train station around 6:30ish and got to indro at 7:30 ish. Yes, only 4 hours to kill. We kinda just walked around (since funhouse was closed and didn't have DDR anyway) and talked/ate at maccas. BUT SERIOUSLY... what kind of funhouse
a) Closes
b) Doesn't have DDR
c) Is a dirty slut

Also, because they didn't allow camera's inside, musu had to hide his down his pants.
Movie marathon was ok. Fast and Furious was disappointing, and the best movie was 'Role Models'. Rest was meeeeh
Anyway, that finished and we got to city at 7am, where we went to pancake manor, but I didn't want anything beacuse I wanted rice >_<
While waiting for 10:30 at southbank, we sat at the food court and ate hash browns, and Tyler and I played dice.
In case you're wondering, its EXACTLY what it sounds like. You roll dice. end game.

BLAH southbank BLAH

While eating at nando's yesterday, we were talking about (you now know :P) names of stores/franchies/companies which would be easily modifiable to become a brothel, starting off with "The Whorehouse - Where everyone gets a bargain", which was by no means the winner.
I believe some of my favourites in the competition to be Pick 'n' Pay, Target and The Reject Shop.

OH yeah.. at funhouse, I was ttly pwning tekken, and this guy came up and put $2 in for 2 tries. I think I saw a tear when I beat him with mokujin lol.

I WAS planning to write a birthday blog post yesterday, but seeing the time I woke up yesterday was on the day before, then naturally I was fairly tired when I got home at stupid-o-clock after walking in the rain for 30 minutes [with sky of course ;)].
I won't write too much but let you guys get back to your busy lives ^^

I will say thanks to everyone who said happy birthday, thought happy birthday or considered thinking/saying happy birthday (which is everyone, so thanks everyone)

Yes, luckily my mum just came home and wanted to watch television. She has once again amazed me at her incompetence and arrogance, and her impossibility to be wrong. I'm not even joking. I don't think my mum has EVER said sorry in her life.
Basically, she wanted to watch TV, and got angry at me that it didn't work, and obviously was my fault. TURNS OUT it just was on a different channel, and she wasn't intelligent enough to press a button to change the channel.

In fairness to her point, her fingers must BURN pressing that little button once, it'd be much easier to yell at me to 'fix' HER TV. Lets face it guys. changing a TV channel is not something everyone can do. It's a gift.
And naturally, instead of apologising for her massive deficiency she just yelled at me saying I shouldn't change the channel, in which I got annoyed and told her if that was the case, then I'll take the TV and buy her a photo frame to watch.

Uber tired-ness

Yeugh (is that even a legitimate sound)
I just got back from baddy, and am fairly DEAD TIRED zZz. And naturually, my parents being the considerate people they are, were like rah rah rah don't see movie marathon rah rah southbank bad rah rah rah. It would've been multiple times easier to just tell them I was taking an "overnight pottery class". Classic

Oh yeah, and yesterday we (my family) went with other family friends to the gold coast, where they owned a few apartments in which we swam/beach'd/etc. Then we went to see that outback spectacular thingo at the gold coast, which was not really that spectacular zZz too tired to type. THEN we got back at like 10:30pm and so we played cards until about 1-2am ish I think?

ok sleepy time now otherwise I will wake up with a keyboard on my face, making it marginally more difficult to watch a movie/go to southbank.

Yes, this post most definitely "get(s)' the seven"
Oh, and also 30 rock is on channel seven on monday nights. Watch it :@
Also, ask ryan what time to be at southbank. Worst. planning. ever.
(Well, actually same planning as always n_n)

physics is a traitor

aaah I'm so upset... both my ps2's are dead, and both for the same reason. They got GG'd by over power supply, and so subsequently I can't play tekken at home, which I'm sure you all sympathise with.

Not my main point however. Its time for that obligatory Ms. Henderson whining post. For those of you less acquainted with the comings and goings of QA staff, we have a new Dean of Studies: Ms. Henderson *dun dun duhhhh -cue evil music-*
The first time I saw her, I thought she was some sort of Education Queensland inspector, because she looks like Hillary Clinton, and with her wardrobe, could bloody well be running for election. But, it can only be a bad omen, similar to a stingray barb to Steve Irwin. I SAID IT

Luckily, if history is anything to go by, she will eventually get shafted by an Obama-like-figure, which for the purposes for this blog I will call O-blah-ma.

All I have heard her say is blah blah hope to meet you blah blah election promises blah blah unapproachable. Why do we have to have shit collegiate changes in our last year. THANK YOU education queensland.
And for all you people on academic review, I can only envisage one possible scenario

Henderson VERSUS Academic Review Student

Henderson: ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Student: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Its Henderson's Turn!
---->Umbrella Attack PP 20/20
---->Election Promises PP 10/10
---->Hyper Gleam PP 1/1 (Takes 1 turn to charge)
---->Call Parents PP 50/50 <------- ---->Leech Seed PP 15/15

Henderson used 'Call Parents'
Its super effective
'Pocket Money' sharply fell
Student flinched!

Henderson: ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Student: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Its Henderson's Turn!
Henderson uses UMBRELLA ATTACK!
Critical Hit!

Henderson: ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Student:

Student is out of HP. Student Fainted
-Cue FF victory music-

ANYWAY, I also want to complain about sleazy maccas, giving me a shift tomorrow. yes, that's right, if it were possible for a fast food retail franchise store to be sleazy, this would be it.

Oh yeah. and I gots a C- for my mandarin resume, which when put in perspective to sandra's D+ looks quite flash. Eelyn also got a D, (and I'll say it again) but I think that grade may be more reflective on cup size.

ALSO, everyone come to southbank for a 'gathering' on monday for Ryan (and as a byproduct, my birthday). I think a BBQ at least has been promised and if not, its still close to city ^^.
But yeah, this year my birthday almost feels like an inconvenience to Ryan's perfect gathering ==;;

Today, I was surprised at who didn't go. You used to be a good boy fred.... lol
and I didn't go because of a horrific boating accident... honestly =)

And for everyone doing physics right now, here is a special snapshot of how you can turn our old physics pracs into original, new and innovative new writeups.
Yesm, I did just make a 'find and replace' joke

sailing mishap!

zZz

Sorry guys, no blog updates for a while, and I know for some avid readers its heartbreaking lol.

Unfortunately, everytime I get home I'm so annoyed by stuff that I can't even bring myself to write a blog. Everything should clear up soon though, so expect an update in a few days?

Additionally, sorry if I sound presumptuous/whiny/etc, but I'll make it up somehow?

Edit: fixed a typo ==;;
P.S. eugene is a BETCH

Laws of life? (Besides| Wife --> Wash, iron, fetch, etc. )

Lalalala blog blog =) Another blog update from your friendly neighbourhood blogger.
Maybe a more 'personal' blog as my last few posts have been irrelevant and generally bad insurance (ING 'IN-DIRECT').
See? now I'm qualified to write puns for mX.

Anyway, starting with yesterday.. (because its easier than jumping from one place to another, similar to a bunny on crystal meth)
Yesterday was the last official day of our exam block, but unlike those biology suckers(/molluscs?), we superior physics students didn't have an exam, rather a physics IA session, where bascially we timed a pendulum and then finished after 30 minutes.
After that, us superior (in every way) physics students walked to the bus stop and went to city, where the biol students were busy (on a cellular level only) playing MT, etc.
kt, sandra, eelyn(plus or minus jason) and jess came about 30 minutes after, (and I saw garth. *ticks off checklist*) and we (DISCULDING kt) went to see a movie, which was "confessions of a shopaholic" which was for the most, entertaining.

kt wouldn't have gotten in anyway. the scenario would go something like this:
kt: I would like one ticket to "Confessions of a shopaholic" please.
sales guy: I'm sorry little girl but that movie isn't for you.. how bout *points to "Wiggles - the movie"*
kt: *cyclone's his face*
sales guy: *auugh my blood hurts*
kt: *cyclones away*

WTF MORE. In light of this random story, I will blah blah skip to the next day.
blah blah bus blah blah nathan blah blah creme egg blah blah level 2 blah blah price tag still on blah blah sleep, eat, etc

Ok.thursday.yay
Because even normally so I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THURSDAY SO MUCH MANGGG LORR LORR LORRR. Since I have every subject on thursdays (which my avid readers will be well aware of by now lol) we got our results back. For your convenience, I will present this info in a list.

Maths: Rahfrahhhrahrahrah disapointing frahhh frah rah blah rah family feast special discount....
English: Bee happy. iB level 5
Chemistry/Physics = GG/Undisclosed
Mando: I "got the seven". (in loving memory of hui richards, 2008)

rainy days are not nearly as fun, and I will be sending letters of complaint to jesus, detailing
my trials and suffering.

Note: I did not take ecstasy before writing this blog, although if I did, it would bring new meaning to "Rave Party" at funhouse. mmmmmmmmm

good(bye) friends =)

Oh yeah, just remembered (the title).
I've discovered if you drop toast, with some sort of spread on it (nutella, peanut-butter, jam, etc) and you have carpet, if and when you drop the toast, it will land with the jam'd/butter'd side down right on the FREAKING CARPET.
Any attempt to catch said toast, will simply result in you buttering/jam-ing your hand before the inevitable happens.

My eyes hurt/itch, but i'm already scratching my corneas out, so I should stop TT.
